The Forsyth Farmers’ Market relies heavily on volunteers to make it happen every week. Because of our beautiful location in Forsyth, farmers cannot tail-gate or drive to their stall so it takes many hands to set up and break down every week. There are many types of volunteer jobs on any given market day and some volunteer work during the rest of the week too.
The Friends of the Forsyth Farmers’ Market program is a membership based group designed to help grow and sustain the market and its related education and advocacy programs. The base suggested membership is $25 and members receive discounts at special designated vendors every week, a free market tote bag, and special early bird news alerts. To become a friend fill out this application and credit card payment.
New in 2012! The Forsyth Farmers’ Market is launching a sponsorship program for businesses who want to show market customers that they support local food and farmers. The Sponsor of the Week banner will be hoisted across the sidewalk in the middle of the market every week and sponsors will also have an ad in Connect Savannah and be spotlighted in our e-newsletter. Please fill out our form and we will be in touch.
Each week, the Forsyth Farmers’ Market will reserve a spot at the market for a local non-profit organization to highlight the work they are doing in our community. If you would like to participate in this program please fill out our application.
