We are proud to share our 2016 accomplishments with you

  • Farm Truck 912 is rolling up on its first full year of service. At the end of October, we have visited over 200 stops in 7 Savannah communities and served over 5,000 customers! At least 165 of those stops had targeted educational offerings and there was a Little Free Library filled with donated cookbooks at every stop. Check the Farm Truck 912 schedule.
  • FFM received a $54,000 grant from the USDA’s Farmer’s Market Promotion Program to create an app to promote the Saturday marekt and Farm Truck 912. Download it here.
  • In 2016, in addition to the USDA grant, we raised $47,000 from private local funds and $37,000 from new grants. For our 2016/17 fiscal year, our fundraising goal is $50,000 from our major gifts campaign. $21,000 from special events and membership and $15,000 in grants.
  • Voted Best Farmers’ Market by the readers of Connect Savannah and Best Organic Food by the readers of Savannah Magazine.
