Internship Opportunities

The mission of the Forsyth Farmers' Market is to promote understanding and participation in a local food system that supports sustainable production and increases access to local products. The FFM manages a Saturday weekly farmers' market, 9am-1pm, operates a Farm Truck 912 mobile market during the week, and offers nutrition and agriculture education programming to engage the Savannah community. The market seeks to provide support for small and medium sized local farmers and to identify and meet the local food needs of the community.

The Farm Truck 912 is a mobile farmers’ market that brings locally sourced fruits, vegetables, and agricultural products  to Savannah’s neighborhoods. The project seeks to improve physical and economical access to healthy foods. The farm truck serves eight locations throughout the Savannah area every week, five of which are identified by the USDA as low-income, low food access areas.
